Radio 1224 as an app
Listen with one tap, just like a real appPut Radio 1224 on the home screen of your phone, tablet or computer. Open the site in Safari
In Safari, go to radio1224.nl.

Tap Share
Tap the Share button at the bottom: the square with the arrow pointing up. On an iPad it is at the top right. Don't see it? Tap ••• first.

Choose Add to Home Screen
A menu slides up. Scroll down a little and tap Add to Home Screen.

Tap Add
Leave Open as Web App switched on (if you see that option) and tap Add at the top right.

Done: open the app
Radio 1224 is now on your home screen. Tap the icon and the site opens full screen, just like an app.
Notifications on iPhone and iPad: these only work in the app (iOS 16.4 or newer). Open Radio 1224 from your home screen and switch on the notification for your favourite DJ on the Follow Your DJ page.

Open the site in Chrome
In Chrome, go to radio1224.nl. Is there a yellow Install app button at the top of this page? Tap it and go to step 4.

Tap the menu ⋮
Tap the three dots at the top right.

Choose Install app
In the menu, tap Install app. If it says Add to Home screen, choose that.

Tap Install
Confirm with Install. Radio 1224 is now added to your phone as an app.

Done: open the app
Radio 1224 is now among your apps and on your home screen. Tap it and listen along.
Samsung Internet: do not install Radio 1224 via Samsung Internet. That browser creates an outdated app that Google Play Protect blocks ("Unsafe app blocked"). Open the site in Chrome and follow the steps above.

Open the site in Chrome or Edge
Go to radio1224.nl and click the install icon on the right of the address bar. If there is a yellow Install app button at the top of this page, you can use that too.

A small window appears. Click Install.

Radio 1224 opens in its own window without an address bar and appears in your Start menu, taskbar or Dock.
Safari on a Mac: in the menu bar choose File › Add to Dock.
